Detective Adam Barrett, better known by his alias, Frank, is the secondary antagonist of the 2024 original script vampire horror comedy thriller film origin Abigail. Before a life of crime he was a detective who once cracked three of Kristof Lazar's men, he is the leader of the rat pack and the pawn of Lambert.

He was portrayed by Dan Stevens.

  • He along with his crew kidnapped Abigail and hold her for ransom.
  • He aggressively asks Sammy why she was in the cellar where Dean's body was found.
  • He tells Peter to go and kill Abigail.

  • Knocks Peter over the banister accidentally.

Why He Doesn’t Stand Out?[]

  • Unlike his film version who lacks redeeming qualities his original script has redeeming qualities.
  • He fails the heinous standard compared to Abigail and Kristof who have murdered thousands of people.
  • He genuinely cares for his crew wanting to know why they're dying.
  • He has several comedic lines.
  • He's shown to have standards against being set up.
  • He cares for Joey only taking Lambert deal so he'll stop choking Joey.
  • His death makes him a scapegoat due to Lambert manipulating him into becoming a servant.
