Folgen is an minor antagonist in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series. He is the Knight Captain of the Kingdom of Falmuth and an Otherworlder.
In the anime, his voice was provided by Shunichi Maki in Japanese and by Adam Rowe in English.

- Saw Shogo Taguchi, Kirara Mizutani and Kyoya Tachibana nothing more than useful tools and shown zero remorse when they were killed.
- Agree with the idea of provoking the Jura-Tempest Federation by sending in 3 mentioned Otherworlders to stir up trouble so they can have a excuse to subjugate the nation because they are monsters and threaten the nation's trade dominance.
- Lead an army of soldiers to the Jura-Tempest and slaughtered 100 people there including Shion, civilians and children. Then later attempted failed genocide on the nation.
- His death by Rimuru Tempest was not played for sympathy and was deserved for his warcrimes and act of attempted genocide.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- The heinous standard of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is way too high for Folgen to stand out due the fact his act of attempted genocide is common crime with larger kill counts in tens thousands to millions being the norm and even with factor of his resources he would fail to Gelmud, Yuuki Kagurazaka, and Mariabell Rosso who done far worse than him with similar or lower resources than him and even then it was under Edmaris Falmuth's orders so he would fail the heinous standard to Edmaris if it was more lower to stand out.
- He is loyal to Emdaris Falmuth, Razen and the Kingdom of Falmuth willingly.
