All I wanted was a miracle, and now I'M STUCK WITH 22 BABY TADPOLES WHO THINK I'M THEIR MOM! IT'S NOT FAIR!
~ The Fair Fairy after seeing the tadpoles for the first time.

The Fair Fairy is the main antagonist of the 2019 novel, Dog Man: Fetch-22, the eighth installment in Dav Pilkey's Dog Man book series.

Her Evil Ranking[]

Her Villainous Deeds[]

  • It's implied that in her past, she was very abusive to her contestants on her own show, judging by what both Downward Dog and Sam E. Hamilton state.
  • After learning that 22 tadpoles had assumed she was their mother, she showed no care for them and simply left.
  • When the 22 tadpoles created Barky McTreeface, the Fair Fairy became intrigued and sent everyone to destroy as much of the city as possible. It is even visibly clear how much damage was made to the city in this attack.
  • When Dog Man, Chief, Sarah Hatoff, and Zuzu attempted to go against the Fair Fairy and her army, she sends the tadpoles to capture the four in butterfly nets.
  • After Flippy saved Dog Man, Chief, Sarah Hatoff, and Zuzu, she simply had Barky McTreeface capture them in his grasp.
  • When she found out that Molly had become friends with Li'l Petey, she quickly had them separated from each other and gives Li'l Petey to Barky McTreeface.
  • She grabs Molly and prevents her from keeping her powers, even if she was being manipulated and she would be the only tadpole to keep their powers.
  • She and Grampa run away from the heroes as a last resort to not get arrested.

Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]

  • While her mass child abuse and revealed destruction to the city does let her pass the general baseline, she fails the massive heinous standard of the series to other villains who have murdered, manipulated, tortured, abandoned newborns, endangered possibly hundreds, and attempt to enslave all of humanity.
  • While her destruction to the city is shown to the reader, it was never revealed if anyone died in this attack, making it fall under Fridge Horror.
  • She has way too many comedic moments that detract from her villainy, with too many to possibly list.
  • After they create Barky McTreeface, the tadpoles are treated as genuine children to her and she is shown to love them all excluding Molly, though this action had only happened after she fell out of line with the rest of her siblings.
