Ermac is a minor antagonist in Mortal Kombat 1, and a more malicious counterpart to the main version of Ermac and is an unplayable character in Shang Tsung's chapter.

Like his counterpart, he is voiced by Jamieson Price.

His Villainous Deeds[]

He appears as a dark titan and helps Titan Shang Tsung destroy Liu Kang's New Era.
He took the opportunity to challenge Liu Kang and the heroes and invade his timeline.
He tried to kill Raiden, New Era Shang Tsung and New Era Quan Chi.
In the Armageddon chapter, he joins the Forces of Darkness.
Despite being a creation of souls created by Shao Kahn, he possesses a clear moral agency. He embraces his evil nature with pride. Moreover, he openly acknowledges that he chose to embody the villain he has become solely to gain strength, offering no excuses for his actions.
He lacks any redeeming qualities that his original counterpart has.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

He fails the heinous standards to other villains like Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn and Quan Chi who did worse than him.
He usually relies on Fridge Horror.
