Enya Geil (Enyaba in some English translations), also known as Enya the Hag, is the secondary antagonist of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise.
She was the mother of J. Geil and the one who awoke DIO's Stand, serving as his advisor and right-hand woman up until her death. It is later revealed that she had a key role in developing the Stand population, and had acquired the bow and arrow from Diavolo. Even after her death, her actions had an impact on the entire series.
In Japanese, she was voiced by Rika Fukami in the OVA, Sanae Takagi in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future, Katsue Miwa in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, and Reiko Suzuki in the anime. In English, she was voiced by Elaine Clark in the OVA, and Barbara Goodson (under the alias of Janis Carroll) in the anime.

Her Villainous Deeds[]
- Joined DIO and became his right-hand, aiding his plan to take over the world.
- Bought five Stand arrows from Diavolo and used them to activate the stand of DIO and his minions, including her son J. Geil. This makes her play a part in causing so many people all over the world to get stands.
- When she stabbed DIO with one of her arrows because of fate supposedly drawing her to him, DIO would use The World to commit many heinous deeds, and DIO used the arrows to create more stand users by piercing his agents with them, thus giving the Stardust Crusaders a hard time on their way to Egypt. This would also lead to the Joestar family having a curse placed upon their bloodline once DIO got his stand, causing every single living Joestar member to suddenly have stands. But because Holly Kujo and Josuke Higashikata barely possessed any fighting spirits to control their stands, they were doomed to soon die slowly and painfully.
- She let DIO give some of her arrows to Mansaku Nijumura, Yoshihiro Kira, and Enrico Pucci.
- Mansaku's son, Keicho Nijimura, used his arrow to create stand users strong enough to kill his father since he disturbingly morphed into a genetically horrifying mutation once DIO was killed by Jotaro.
- Yoshihiro used his arrow on his own son, Yoshikage Kira, who used his stand Killer Queen to kill so many people in the town of Morioh, and his father created more stand users to defend his son.
- And Pucci was pierced in his lowest point in life, which resulted with him donning the stand known as Whitesnake/C-Moon/Made in Heaven (As well as causing Domenico Pucci/Weather Report to manifest a stand since he was Enrico's brother), thus causing the reset of the entire universe and resulting in countless deaths.
- She is delusional about her son, thinking him a noble man even if he is a serial murderer and rapist.
- Although it's never stated whether she knows her son's crime, considering she can get information about various DIO's minions, it's more likely that she knows the fact but ignores it anyway.
- After knowing her son was dead, she hit a random cat with her staff out of spite.
- Used her stand to disguise a graveyard into a hotel to lure Joestar's group and kill them. And she revived the corpses in the graveyard (including a dog and a baby) into her personal zombie army.
- After Hol Horse friendly greeted her in the hotel, she cut his arm with scissors and nearly killed him for believing he betrayed her son.
- Manipulated a zombie baby to pierce Polnareff's tongue, and sadistically forced Polnareff to suck the urinal.
- Attempted to kill the rest of Joestar's group by manipulating the corpses.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- Although indirectly being responsible for DIO and many other villains activate their stand, this crime is shared with DIO and Diavolo. Unlike DIO (who drains the blood of hundreds of innocent people) and Diavolo (who sells drugs all over Italy and even to children), Enya does not have additional personal villainy to pass the JoJo franchise's high heinous standard.
- She is extremely loyal to DIO, joined and dedicated to DIO's cause just to witness his life till the end.
- She has several comedic moments, such as her over-the-top expressions, screechy evil laughs, and her humiliation conga when facing Polnareff.
- She genuinely loves her son, as she cried over her son's death and rampaged into revenging him.
- Her death is played for sympathy, as she refused to give away the information of DIO's stand even before getting killed by her own master's flesh bud.
