Her Evil Ranking[]
Her Villainous Deeds[]
- After Oberyn's death, she steals Myrcella's necklace and send it for her mother, Cersei Lannister in the jaws of a viper ornament, as a way to shown that she would kill Myrcella. This is made worse by the fact that she had nothing to do with Oberyn's death and Oberyn didn't want Myrcella to be harmed.
- Pushed the sand snakes into kill a merchant captain and kidnap Myrcella, fighting against Jaime and Bronn when they go to rescue her, leading to Bronn nearly dying from poison.
- She faked giving up on her desire for revenge, and poisoned Myrcella, leading to her dying in her father's arms.
- After Doran understand she was the one who killed Myrcella, she kills him, Trystane, and several of his guards, taking over Dorne in the process.
- She persuaded Olenna Tyrell to join Daenerys Targaryen army and fight for her in Winterfell.
- She mocks Tyrion after he reminds her of her killing of Myrcella, while also pretty much telling Tyrion he should have died instead of Oberyn.
- She insults Theon Greyjoy and treats him as a servant, although she stops shortly after Yarra starts to please her.
- Even in her last moments after being captured by Cersei, Ellaria shows no remorse for killing Myrcella.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While her crimes are pass the baseline, she still fall of the franchise's heinous standards.
- She has several people she cares about:
- She loves Oberyn, with her death being what makes her want revenge against the Lannisters.
- She cared for Ellia Martell, as she wanted revenge for her rape and murder by the hands of the Mountain.
- She cares for the Sand Snakes, working together and protecting each other. This is especially shown with Tyene, whom she was desperate to protect when they were captured by Cersei and broke down over Cersei poisoning her, with her last moments onscreen being trying to reach her.
- She'a also very tragic due to her actions being motivated by Oberyn dying in front of her.
- Despite all of her actions, her end is played with so much sympathy it makes her a scapegoat. She was captured by Cersei, chained in the same room as her daughter but unable to reach her, as she had to watch as Cersei put a poison in her that would slowly kill her. She presumably spent the rest of her days watching as she could do nothing as her daughter slowly died in front of her, while being force-fed to prevent her from starving.
