Miss Edith Anthrope is a supporting antagonist in the Captain Underpants book series.
Miss Anthrope is the school secretary at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School, who, like the rest of the staff, is sadistic, abusive and hates children.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Villainous?[]
- She sadistically tortures and endangers children for fun, not even considering the consequences of those actions.
- While she got captured by the Binoic Bogger Boy, it doesn't make her a scapegoat and doesn’t exclude her for her actions.
- After getting yelled at by Melvin, who was actually Mr. Krupp after they underwent switch brains, she gives him a wedgie by hanging his underwear on a wall coat rack.
- While she join a mob to get back at Melvin for supposedly bothering the citizens, she did this purely out of pragmatism reasons, as she only want to get back at him for threatening to firing her butt and not out of standards towards his crimes, and was also willing to assault him, and not to mention the fact she tortures and endangers the other children for fun.
- She illegally streaked across Jerome Horwitz Elementary School, believing herself to be in a dream. When the police officers came, she resisted arrest until she was finally arrested.
- She and the faculty members take full advantage of Mr. Meaner's spray that brainwashes students into mindless servants who abuse them by enslaving them into cleaning their cars and mowing their laws.
- By Book 12, she receives no karmic punishment for her abusive behavior throughout the book series.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- She fails the heinous standard to Turbo Toilet 2000, Slightly Younger Tiny Tippy Tinkletrousers, Dr. Diaper, Zorx, Klax & Jennifer and especially Evil George Beard and Evil Harold Hutchins, as they have done much worse.
- She is too comedic to be NPE or PE, due to she belong to the Captain Underpants books, comedic graphic novels that rarely if ever take themselves seriously.
- She and the teachers have some sort of friendship and they get along very well.
