Duke Ricaro Alivarez is the main antagonist from Fantasy Wars, Elven Legacy: Ranger. He was the lord of the tiny but militarily very strong kingdom of Mirralia, the usurper of the throne.

- It is very likely that he kills his father and older brother to gain control over Mirralia, but he does not proclaim himself king, only a duke and the leader of the country.
- In the capital, Ralin, he orders his soldiers to kill anyone who rejects him as the new ruler of the Mirraliai, hangs all the priests and gives influence to evil mages.
- Among them he chooses his court mage, Leonardo, who was already infamous for stealing artifacts from the academy of Sylent for training magicians and conducting unethical experiments with corpses.
- He gives power and influence to persons who are loyal to him, but show arrogant, criminal, vile and cruel behavior against the nation and start looting the villages in the territory of the kingdom and burn all churches.
- He rejects Derrick as the new king of Leranse and declares war on him despite saving him and everyone else from a brutal demon.
- He makes an alliance with Sagittel and the outcast elves, to whom he gives free rein to do whatever they want with the rebels and loot their villages.
- When he finds out where the most important areas of the rebels are, he sends an army there to plunder the villages and kill the rebels along with their families with the help of Erestor and the outcast elves.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- Ha massively fail the heinous standards of Fantasy Wars. He commits all the atrocities only in his territory and not as many people die because of him as because of other villains.
- He sent mercenaries to protect the free city of Sylent, which means he also partially contributed to the downfall of Ugraum Grableg's horde.
