Black Yoshi is a recurring character on SuperMarioLogan. Since the Cease-and-Desist order from Nintendo, Logan is no longer allowed to use Mario characters. He created a prototype human puppet of the character renamed Duggie to act as his replacement which Logan used in Thumbnails on Videos with Duggie in them. However, he did not return in any SML Videos for over a year until It’s Ya Boy Duggie!.

His Villainous Deeds[]
- He is a thug who has been stealing and committing crimes for years, though his various acts of theft are far from the worst things he has done.
- In "Black Yoshi April Fools", He shoots and kills Mario for pranking him on April Fool's Day by telling him that his Xbox had been destroyed when it was perfectly fine.
- In the first episode of the Baby Shrek side series, he kills Mario again just for telling him to keep his stuff away from Shrek Junior.
- In "Toad Mistake 2", He shoots and later nukes Toad, just because he wanted to play Black Yoshi's Call of Duty.
- In "The Call of Duty Blackout", he shoots "Charlie Brown 678" (Joseph) to death because the latter paid The Rat to cut the wires at Mario's house causing a blackout. Even Mario points out this was a bit too much over a blackout. In the same video, he murders Brooklyn Guy's son because he wanted to buy Black Yoshi's copy of Call of Duty.
- In "Black Yoshi's Job", when he has to babysit Bowser Junior, he pulls out his gun and shoots Junior's toys when Junior makes him play with one tiny dinosaur against his many bigger ones. He also threatens to pull out his gun again when Junior won't let him play with his Thomas & Friends toy and even shoots Toad when they play doctor. He also ties up Junior, due to the latter wanting to play Call of Duty.
- In "Black Yoshi's Scam", he scams 1 million dollars out of people faking sick just to buy Call of Duty WW2 on the Moon.
- In "Luigi's Mansion Episode 4", he threw a bomb at Toad for shutting down his Xbox.
- In "Black Yoshi's Mistake" after destroying his own Xbox by pushing it in a Kool-Aid filled bathtub (which was entirely his fault and was incredibly stupid and irresponsible), Black Yoshi stole Mario's engagement ring and gave it over to the Loan Dolphin to purchase another Xbox. After being told he would be kicked out of Mario's house and life, Black Yoshi tried to pull the ring off Brooklyn's finger with a car after failing many other attempts which is considerably dangerous.
- In "Black Yoshi's Blank Check!", he illegally fills out a blank check he was sent for one million dollars, and spends the stolen money how he likes, despite multiple warnings not to from Mario. He later plays a real-life version of Call of Duty with Tyrone, kills him, and hides his dead body and the stolen money in Mario's couch. After Mario tells Brooklyn Guy what really happened after lying to save Black Yoshi from being arrested, Black Yoshi didn't take any responsibility for what he did, and Mario is sent to jail.
- In "How Black Yoshi Stole Christmas!", he poisons milk in order to kill Santa Claus and stole presents because Mario didn't buy him any.
- In "The Purge", he shoots and kills Mr. Goodman during Purge night.
- In "Black Yoshi's Kids", he refuses to pay child support or look after his infant son, tries to kill him by throwing him out a window, and kidnaps 24 babies from a park so he can make money from them.
- In "Black Yoshi's Fried Chicken", after Tyreese the Chicken kills Chef Pee Pee and cooks him into fried chicken, he and Black Yoshi eat him.
- In "Black Yoshi's Superpowers!", he steals various purses and a PS4, and attacks Mario and Brooklyn Guy with lasers when they try to return the stolen items.
- In "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?", after correctly answering the first question and getting the second question wrong, he robs Brooklyn Guy for $100 (apparently not understanding the $100 was only for if he gave up on the second question and decided to walk with the money).
- In ''Black Yoshi The Assistant", he shoots and kills Bowser Junior after getting annoyed with his various demands. While Junior was extremely annoying and completely unreasonable in his demands, Black Yoshi could have simply refused to do them instead of murdering him.
- In “Duggie’s Robot Scam” he destroyed Bott Buddy and disguised himself with Bott Buddy's body so he could steal Mr. Goodman’s money, then bought a car and chicken, but got arrested and sent to jail.
- In "Jeffy's Lunch Money", he disguised as Jeffy to steal the lunch money Mario was going to give him while leaving Jeffy in the closet. He stole the money because Mario never would give him any.
- In ''Jeffy’s New Shoes'', he stole Jeffy’s Bumblebee sneakers.
- While his tragedy of having ancestors mistreated due to their skin color and having a troubling childhood sounds sympathetic, there’s no confirmation if his supposed ancestors were real and he is using them to get pity from others. Even if his childhood is bad, he's long gone past it and it's not justifiable.
- While Jeffy and Junior did worse, they had more resources than him.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He massively fails the heinous standard of the SML series to characters who has done worse things such as Cody Nutkiss, Bowser Junior, Vladimir Smirnov, Goodman and even Does Bad Things Guy. He also fails the heinous standard to Joseph and Jeffy as well since they did is worse than Black Yoshie ever did.
- He is incredibly comedic since Black Yoshi's stupidity is ususally exaggerated for comic effect (even more so than Shrek), he is (almost) always played for laughs.
- He is rather incompetent since his crimes have little impact due to negative continuity, as characters previously murdered by him continue to appear alive and well in later videos.
- He is an Anti-Villain sometimes due to helping Mario from Zombie Princess Peach by killing her and tried to kill Bowser until he got killed by him or helping the Angry Birds fight Mr. Pig and his goons the Green Pigs.
- He is On & Off due to not always being a villain or sometimes not committing any crimes, and even in rare occasions being genuinely heroic with no ulterior motive.
- He has genuine friendships with the Angry Birds, Shrek, and Tyrone despite killing him one time.
- In " Jeffy the Good Boy", he teams up with Jeffy to get the PS5 and let him have the second PS5 if Jeffy got the PS5 successfully.
