Dr. Eggman is a major antagonist in the 2015 toys-to-life video game Lego Dimensions, serving as the main antagonist of the "Sonic Dimensions" campaign. He is a mad scientist from the Sonic the Hedgehog dimension who enacts various schemes in order to take over the world. He is also Sonic the Hedgehog's arch-nemesis.

He was voiced by Mike Pollock, who also voiced his Sonic X and Sonic Boom counterparts.

• It's heavily implied that he committed the same crimes that his game counterpart, such as roboticizing several people or trying to destroy the universe with the Time Eater.
• He tried to use the Keystone Device and the Chaos Emeralds to control all of existence.
• He kidnapped Sonic's friends and threatened to kill them if Sonic didn't hand over his Chaos Emerald.
• He tried to kill Sonic multiple times.
• He refused to give Sonic the Chaos Emeralds even when he needed them to stop Chaos.
• He planned on taking the emeralds from Sonic after Chaos was defeated.
• He had the player collect chili dogs for his evil plans, saying that they were for orphans. He then bribed them with a Gold Brick.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?

• He fails the individual capacity, as he has access to both the Chaos Emeralds and the Keystone Device, yet all he does with them is threaten to kill a handful of people.
• He relies heavily on Fridge Horror, as while its implied he has the same crimes as the original Dr. Eggman, there isn't any proof to this.
• He has several moments where he isn't taken seriously, such as:
  • Him getting distracted by Sonic pretending to complement his mustache.
  • Him forgetting to create a name for his missile launcher and saying he'll come up with one later.
  • Him accidentally revealing his plan to take the emeralds from Sonic after Chaos was defeated.
  • The unconvincing lies he tells to the player.
• Despite trying to kill him, he admits that after years of fighting, he's grown to like Sonic on some level. He thanked Sonic when he though the latter complemented his mustache.
