Diablo is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Veldora) of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime franchise.
He is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai in Japanese and in English he Voiced Daman Mills in English.

In General[]
- Despite being made from an darkness elemental he has a clear moral agency.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime[]
- He tortured and killed many people in the past.
- He threatened to kill Tiss if she tell anyone he helped her and Class S against a Phantom.
- He was tempted to kill Ramiris if not for Rimuru Tempest stopping him.
- He threaten Razen he would kill Edarmis Falmuth should he betrayed him.
- While mostly justified he still took some pleasure in killing Seven Luminares and threatening Edward Falmith.
- He would make Testarossa, Ultima and Carrera join him using more force for the latter 2 to make him serve under Rimuru Tempest.
- Although mostly justified he killed many Eastern Empire soldiers in the Eastern Empire Invasion in defending Tempest.
- Even while doing heroism, he still showed some of his sadistic traits, showing that outside of his absolute and genuine loyalty to Rimuru and his fellow followers, he is an evil person at heart.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While his high kill count and torture easily passes the general baseline, he fails the heinous standards to Guy Crimson who did worse with similar resources and he also fails to Carrera, Ultima and Testarossa (the latter who slightly fail herself) with even fewer resources than him.
- While some of his actions were shown onscreen, he suffers from Fridge Horror and offscreen villainy due to his past barley brought up compared to his fellow Primordial Demons in the Light Novels.
- It is also worth noting most of his kills aren't exactly innocent and unlike Ultima he doesn't go overboard with his methods to make bastard villain victims to make it considered heinous.
- Furthermore despite the bodycount in the Eastern Empire Invasion, they were too ruthless and relentless for lesser lethal methods to work given the Eastern Empire are well know for their harsh conquest makes this too unavoidable to make it heinous.
- Like most villains in the series, he is a Grey Zoned character who does genuinely heroic acts and subverted most of his traits, though not all of his corruptions when he pledged his allegiance to Rimuru Tempest making him On & Off.
- Diablo has redeeming qualities:
- Despite being sadistic, he can be honorable to some opponents such as Razen as he admitted to him being cleaver and always keep his words in contracts.
- He can be genuinely polite at times and is absolutely loyal to Rimuru Tempest, completely ignoring his own morality and prejudices and following the former's orders with absolutely certainty. This also make him a intended extremist due to wishing to help his master with his goals.
