Desann is the main antagonist of Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. He was once a Jedi in Luke's Jedi Order before falling to the Dark Side and attempting to seize unlimited power from the Valley of the Jedi. He believed no one would stop him until Kyle intervened to reclaim his Force powers.

• Even before his fall, he was a jerk towards other Jedi in the Order.
• He killed a fellow Jedi named Havet Storm and fled.
• He turned against Luke's Jedi Order and became a Dark Jedi.
• He searched to find the Valley of the Jedi so he could gain more power and nearly succeeded.
• Attacked Kyle Katarn and kidnapped Jan.
• He tortured Jan and convinced Kyle she was dead, just to intimidate him into leading him to the Valley of the Jedi.
• He attempted to kill Luke Skywalker.

Why Doesn't He Stand Out?

• He ultimately fails the heinous standards of the franchise, especially to Jerec, who nearly became the next Palpatine with similar resources.
• His backstory is somewhat tragic, as he was ostracized and feared by people of his planet for his Force abilities.
