Deathsaurus is the main antagonist of the Transformers: Victory anime and manga.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

Anime[]

  • Attempted to blow up the Earth with his Planet Destroying Fortress to spite Star Saber
  • Fatally wounded Ginrai and forced the Autobots to pull the plug to rebuild him into Victory Leo.
  • He has lost all of his redeeming qualities by the end of the Victory Anime.
  • While he was seemingly killed in the final episode, later tie-in media revealed he was revived later on meaning he is technically a Karma Houdini.

Manga[]

  • Ordered the Dinoforce to attack and destroy a city.
  • Caused a forest fire which endangered animals to collect energy.
  • Attacked the Earth with his planet destroying fortress.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

In General[]

  • While he easily passes the baselines of both continuities for his personal villainy towards Star Saber and his attempted destruction of Earth, both versions fail the heinous standards of the Anime and Manga continuities for different reasons:
    • He massively fails the high heinous standards of the Japanese Generation One Continuity since attempted planetary destruction is too common of a crime so his act of attempting to destroy the Earth with his Planet Destroying Fortress doesn't make him stand out as for while he can't be compared to Megatron/Galvatron since he had more resources than Deathsaurus, he fail the Heinous Standards to Scorponok and Devil Z, of which the former blew up Mars and Cybertron with both also attempting to destroy the Earth and attempted to destroy the Legends World with similar or lesser resources. He also fails the heinous standards to Beast Wars Megatron and Beast Wars Galvatron as the former did same crimes as his USA counterpart plus extra crimes in the various tie-in stories and the latter who attempted to harness Unicron's energy from the planet Gaia while also having a personal villainy with Lio Convoy.
    • In the manga, he fails the heinous standard to not to just Scorponok and Devil Z but to Megatron/Galvatron as well who committed the similar crimes as him and did far worse in terms of individual capability since the events of the Generation One Cartoon up to Season 3, and Headmasters are canon to the Manga's continuity.

Manga[]

  • Hs has multiple redeeming qualities as a selfless Anti-Villain extremist who did his acts of villainy to obtain energy to sustain an Decepticon colony with civilians and protect them, having an adoptive human son named Solon and a wife named Esmeral he cares about while also being way less abusive to the Dinoforce as well. He is also more honorable to Star Saber.
  • He has an detracting comedic moment when Jan tosses a caterpillar on him and grosses him out.
  • He redeems himself when he surrenders and ends the war with a truce with Star Saber.

Trivia[]

  • His Anime version would be Pure Evil or Near Pure Evil and his Manga version would be Inconsistently Heinous if the Heinous Standards of both continuities weren't so high.
  • His Manga version and the Japanese version of Sixshot is the only Transformers Villainous Benchmark aside from the crossover character Death's Head to be an Inconsistently Admirable.
