“ | I knew not of what you speak but you should have learned by now. That nothing can stop the Shredder. I've long since been prepared for any contingency. You see, by an amalgamation of Utrom technology and your pathetic earth machinery I long ago created a digital ingram of myself, a backup that was constantly renewed and could be resurrected should anything happen to my corporeal form. This engram was locked away for safekeeping in the vault until some stranger cyber life form attempted to break into the vault and activate its defense mechanism, the mechanism that released me allowed me to absorb and commandeer this viral being so that I am as you see me now (laughs maniacally). | „ |

~ The Cyber Shredder's first words |
The Cyber Shredder is the main antagonist of seventh and final season, titled Back to the Sewer of the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series. He is a digital engram of the Utrom Shredder's memories that was created should anything happen to his corporeal form.
He was voiced by Scottie Ray, who also voiced Utrom and Tengu Shredder.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- When Viral attempted to hack into the Foot vault where Cyber Shredder was located, he began to take over her body as she died painfully from the process.
- Even before this, having appeared in the near future, to which Viral moved the turtles, he, along with Tengu and Utrom Shredder, fought among themselves with the goal of conquering and ruling New York, and then all three tried to kill the turtles.
- "Resurrected" he tries to return the Foot Clan to its previous state in order to take over New York and kill his enemies, which he almost succeeded in doing.
- Upon meeting the Turtles in cyberspace, he attempted to kill them, going so far as to try to make Michelangelo disappear forever. He then also attempted to kill them again when they returned to cyberspace, creating a cyber explosion.
- After learning that the turtles have a cyber portal, he plans to create one to escape from cyberspace.
- Deciding that he can escape Cyberspace through Baxter Stockman's cyber-body, he hacks into it and takes control of his body. In this body, he attempts to kill Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Stockman.
- He uses a virus to brainwash the turtles into becoming his slaves and serving the Futu Clan to destroy the Purple Dragons, and he also takes the instructions for creating a cyber portal from Donatello's head.
- To check that the portal will work properly without any errors, he uses a site with animals and through the portal sends them to the real world, where they turn into terrible mutants that carry out terrorism in the city.
- Having uploaded himself into the real world, but in an unstable state due to the portal being hacked, the mutated Cyber Shredder begins to destroy the Foot Clan's hideout, scattering everyone and everything.
- He tricks the turtles into thinking they are in the real world, when in fact they are in cyberspace, where Cyber Shredder is trying to kill them.
- With the help of a bug spy, he steals the energy from the Turtles' portal to perfect his own.
- He eventually makes it out into the real world, where he first deals with the Purple Dragons and then goes to the New York Central Hub to hack it, killing a guard before doing so.
- By hacking into all the city's systems, he tries to kill the turtles, April and Casey, so that they don't interfere with his plans.
- Cyber Shredder later successfully infects one of Splinter's last bits of data with a virus before the Turtles can retrieve it. After they turn Splinter back into matter, the virus becomes a homing beacon that Cyber Shredder uses to track them. He finds them at Casey and April's wedding before launching a full-scale attack on the Turtles and the wedding guests. In the fight, Cyber Shredder attempts to kill their friends by collapsing a barn on them.
- Ultimately, his defeat is deserved, considering how many disgusting things he tried to do to the turtles and their human families.
- However, whether he died or not is debatable, given the near future that Viral showed where he is alive and fighting the other Shredders. It is also said that he was able to kill the turtles in this future, which could mean that he is partially Karma Houdini.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He fails the heinous standard compared to other Shredders, as he has a huge resource in the form of the fact that he rules cyberspace and can do whatever he wants there. With cyberspace, he could, through various powerful technologies, take over New York or the world, possibly even turning it into cyberspace itself somehow. However, he does nothing of the sort and limits himself in the spread of his power, which is why he cannot compete even with the Tengu Shredder (not to mention that he fails the heinous standard compared to other villains who, with less resources than him, managed to do everything even worse).
- He has issues with moral agency, as he was created by Ch'rell, a cruel and tyrannical warlord, as a clone of himself in case something happened to him. This means that Cyber Shredder is made of evil, as he was programmed to be as ruthless as his original.
- Unlike the original, Cyber Shredder shows some concern for his clan, wanting to restore them to the glory that was taken from them. He is also shown to not hold a grudge against his right-hand man Khan.
- Also, unlike Ch'rell, Cyber Shredder does not show hatred towards the Utroms and is at best indifferent towards them.
