Corey Cunningham is the secondary antagonist of the 2022 horror novel Halloween Ends (novelization) he was once a kind young man who after accidentally killing the boy he was babysitting became Haddonfield’s Boogeyman.

- He accidentally murdered Jeremy Allen by kicking open a door sending him over the banister (while Jeremy deserved it for being a jerk it was an accident).
- murders Michael Myer’s servant Nelson Christopher out of self-defense.
- Lures Allyson Nelson’s ex-boyfriend Doug into the sewers and helps Michael murder him.
- Stabs Dr. Mathis with a corkscrew.
- Blamed Laurie Strode for trying to keep him away from Allyson.
- Stole Michael’s Myers mask.
- Murdered his bullies by stabbing Billy through the eye with his drumstick drove a wrench through Stacy's chest used a blowtorch to burn Terry’s face, and stomped on Margo’s head (while most of them were horrible to Corey they didn’t deserve to die in horrific ways).
- Stabbed Willy’s assistant Susan with a crowbar pinning her against the wall.
- Murdered Willy by cutting out his tongue.
- attempted to kill Laurie and stab himself to make it look like Laurie did it.
Why He Doesn’t Stand Out?[]
- While his kill count is high enough to pass the general baseline, he still fails the heinous standards of the franchise, particularly to Michael Myers.
- He has a genuine tragedy making his novelization self way too tragic to be NPE, Let alone PE.
- Felt great remorse for his actions.
- He genuinely loved Allyson and his Stepfather Ronald.
- Tries several times to fight his killer instinct put in him by Michael.
