~ Commander Peepers asserting Lord Hater's control |
Commander Peepers is one of the two tritagonists (along with Lord Hater) of the 2013 comedy sci-fi series Wander Over Yonder, serving as the secondary antagonist of season 1, and one of the two tritagonists (alongside Sylvia) of season 2. He is the general to Lord Hater's army and often the only competent member of said army. He serves as the leader of the Watchdogs.
He was voiced by Tom Kenny, who played Viceroy Nute Gunray in the Star Wars prequel trillogy.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- He lead invasions on countless planets with or without Lord Hater even asking for them.
- Seeing as how he and Hater have a room filled with hundreds of skulls, it's likely that a lot of people died because of them.
- He frequently has his Watchdogs kidnap Wander and Sylvia.
- He was a terrible boss to Wesley, and he didn't even remember his name.
- While he did fight Lord Dominator, is was only for pragmatic reasons, as he wanted the Hate Empire to be the greatest evil empire in the galaxy.
- There are often times where he is mean to Lord Hater and yells at him, though it is usually justified since Lord Hater is acting incompetent and is driving the Hate Empire into the ground.
- It could be argued he's more evil than Lord Hater, because it is shown he wants Lord Hater to stay evil, especially in the ending of the series.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While the severity of the crimes he assists with pass the generic baseline, the fact he is doing it all at the behest of Lord Hater causes him to fail the heinous standards (as if Hater even passed the heinous standards in the first place).
- Like most villains in the series, he is constantly played for laughs.
- Regardless of how he is frustrated by him, Peepers is undyingly loyal to Lord Hater and has a genuine friendship with him, making it his lifeās mission to help him achieve his goals of galactic domination.
- When everyone thought that Wesley had died, Peepers attended his funeral, showing that he did care about him.
- While he's seen mistreating him in some episodes, he's mostly affable to the other Watchdogs.
- Although him fighting against Lord Dominator in the finale was pragmatic, it nonetheless was a heroic act, even saving Sylvia from being killed by her drill in the process, making him On & Off.
- He shows genuine standards against Dominatorās plans.
Trivia[]
- Some sources claim that, had Wander Over Yonder received a third season, Peepers would have possibly left the Hate Empire and become his own villain. Has this idea played out, it's possible that it would have affected his VB status.
