Cockle is an minor antagonist in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime spin-off Trinity of Tempest.
His Evil Ranking[]
In General[]
- While he was defeated and put to work by Diablo, it wasn't an true redemption since he only worked to avoid being tortured.
- He has no redeeming qualities and while he may be friendly to his men it is more likely just Faux Affible Evil here.
His Villainous Deeds[]
- He shown to run a crimering in Blumund
- He attempted to kidnap traffic and enslave an child.
- He attempted to kill or capture Phos, Stella and Nemu to sell them into slavery since he stated Demi-Humans are valuable.
- He attempted to summon in a demon to fight them and when that failed he teleported away before being defeated by Diablo.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- While running an crime ring and attempting to traffic & enslave children easily passes the general baseline, the heinous standard of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is too high for him to stand out as none of his crimes are nowhere being close enough to make him even be an Insufficiently Heinous Near Pure Evil due to the fact genocide being too common within the work where kill counts in the tens of thousands to millions being the norm.
- While one can argue trafficking a child can be unique crime to stand out, however it suffers from fridge-horror as it was stated it would be bad for the child to enslaved but not how badly the enslavement treatment would've been here, not to mention he is part of the organization of Orthrus who had members done similar acts as him making it not the case and even if he didn't suffer from fridge-horror or his crimes being shared with others, Othrus is under Yuuki Kagurazaka's control meaning he would fail heinous standard to Yuuki Kagurazaka.
