Clayman is major antagonist of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series.
His Evil Ranking[]
In General[]
- While it was later revealed he was mind controlled, he was already evil before it happened so he don't suffer from moral agency issues.
His Villainous Deeds[]
- Was responsible for having Gelmud causing the events of the Orc Lord incident,
- He also caused the events of Charybdis' revival.
- Manipulated Falmuth to attack the Jura-Tempest Federation. Attempted genocide on the Beast Kingdom Eurazania to awaken as a True Demon Lord.
- Attempted to blame those events on Rimuru Tempest and later attempt to kill him.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While his actions and attempted kill count easily passes the baseline and would've made him pass the heinous standard if it didn't got raised too high in later arcs after his death when mass genocide becomes more common making fail to stand out even with his lower resources.
- He has some redeeming qualities as he got along with Footman, Tear and Laplace, he also truly cared for Kagil, and his people.
- He had some minor detracting comedic moments.
Trivia[]
- If the Heinous Standard That Time Got Reincarnated as a Slime didn't got raised too high later arcs, Clayman would've been Near Pure Evil.
