Little pig, little pig. No more escape.
~ Chris Walker's final words

Chris Walker is the secondary antagonist of Outlast, a minor antagonist in Outlast Whistleblower, and a major character in The Murkoff Account.

He is a very large variant that pursues Miles Upshur relentlessly, and who is considerably larger and stronger than any other inmate in Mount Massive Asylum.

He was voiced by Chimwemwe Miller.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • Before becoming a variant, he was already an insane serial-killer who beheaded his victims.
  • When the Walrider was unleashed, he started killing everyone in his path by beheading them, which gives him a high kill count.
  • He brutally killed a bunch of soldiers in a library, beheading them all except Stephenson whom he impaled on a large metal bar.
  • Throughout the game, he tries to kill Miles Upshur multiple times throwing the man around all over the place and then tries to kill Waylon Park at one point.
  • Keep a huge collection of decapitated heads from his victims which goes to show although his intention is to prevent the Walrider from receiving a host he still clearly take pride in his job and enjoyed murdering people.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • While his high kill count as well as mutilation allows him to pass the baseline easily, he massively fails the overall heinous standards of Outlast where many villains commit many horrible acts, such as the other variants, the Ex-Pop, and more.
  • He was tragic as he earned his mental problems due to him being a veteran of war in Afghanistan.
    • His violent death at the hands of the Walrider was also played for sympathy, as Miles says in a note, he hopes Walker didn't end up into another Hell.
  • He has moral agency issues because of the Morphogenic Engine experimented on him.
  • He's an extremist as he thought by killing everyone the Walrider would not reincarnate into anyone.
