ā€œ I’m not going anywhere until you tell me the plan. ā€ž
~ Chris moments before being shot and left for dead by Izzy Rogers

Chris Stratton a.k.a. "The King of Hearts is a minor antagonist in the criminal mind's episodes "Hit" and "Run." He is a member of the face cards with his brother, Oliver, the sadistic terrorist, Izzy Rogers, and someone he doesn't know is a part of the group, Matthew Downs

He was portrayed by Evan Jones

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • Before the story, along with his brother, he committed at least 5 victimless robberies
  • He joined Izzy with her crimes, assisting her in preforming robberies where Izzy killed at least one hostage at the robberies, in total, he gets 6 people killed, including a child.
  • Arriving in Washington, D.C. on the 4th anniversary of the N’Djamena bombings, the face cards instigate a robbery starting with Izzy murdering a guard and Chris shooting Jodi Ketelson, Willam LaMontagne Jr’s partner, in the head.
    • Watched as Izzy ruthlessly kills Zack Hansen in front of her daughter, something that disgusts him, later, he shoots and kills Travis Green who attempted to shoot him while acting like a medic.
      • On Izzy Rogers orders, he shoots and kills Shawn Harper in the stomach which he did as he was told that it makes them suffer longer
        • When William goes into the bank and tries negotiation, he identifies him as the one who shot is brother and shoots him in the chest several times.
          • In a final attack, he helps with rigging the gas mains under the bank, killing at least 19 hostages, several bystanders and police, and injuring others, two being Ray and Shirley Hamilton, who possibly died in
  • Ending a conflict where he pointed a gun at Izzy, they go to a police department and forces a medic to heal Will’s wound before shooting the medic dead
  • In his last moment he again points a gun at Izzy demanding the plan but is stopped when he is shot 3 times in the stomach.

Why Doesn't He Stand out?[]

  • He heavily fails to Izzy Rogers and Matthew Downs, who committed several bombings which killed at least 30 and who are the ones orchestrating the deaths of the robberies.
  • He cares for his brother and was distraught when he was shot, even ordering Izzy to help him with saving him and getting a medic to heal his wounds, which Izzy swiftly declined
  • Unlike Izzy, he is affable as he doesn't want to actually hurt anyone in the robberies and is nice to the hostages and medic, only becoming aggressive after his brother died.
  • No matter his crimes, his death by the hands of Izzy is shocking and he arguably didn't deserve, at the very least, to be killed by his partner.
