Chidori Yoshino is a major character in the 2006 Japanese role-playing game Persona 3 and its 2024 remake Persona 3 Reload.
She is one of the three survivors of the Kirijo Group's experiments to create artificial Persona users (alongside the other Strega mebers), and acts as the navigator of Strega, and assists them with their online assassination business. However, as the game progresses she begins to fall in love with Junpei Iori, before redeeming herself because of him
She is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro in the Japanese version, by Mona Marshall in the English version of the original, and by Merit Leighton in the English version of Reload.

Her Villainous Deeds[]
- She was complicit in Strega's actions and acted as their navigator.
- She knocked Junpei Iori unconscious on the night of the Hermit Full Moon operation with the intent of making him cancel the operation
- After Strega gets her out of the hospital, she attempts to fight SEES after saying that she can't stand the sight of them anymore.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- She is genuinely tragic, as she was experimented on at the hands of the Kirijo Group so they could understand Tartarus better, and most of the test subjects were killed in the experiments except for her, Takaya, and Jin, and as a result, their lives were shortened drastically.
- To say that she massively fails the in-universe standards of Persona would be an understatement, as her villainous actions amount to assisting Strega in their assassinations and trying to kill SEES, while Shuji Ikutsuki tried to bring about The Fall, a prophecy that would destroy the world, and Tohru Adachi tried to turn the real world into shadows.
- She cares deeply for both the other members of Strega and Junpei.
- With Jin and Takaya, after the incident at the facility, she grew close to the other members of Strega and grew to love them as friends and not just coworkers
- With Junpei, although she initially acted cold towards him, she genuinely fell in love with Junpei, to the point of sacrificing herself to save Junpei, redeeming herself.

- Incidentally, Chidori's Japanese VA also voiced Catherine, another Villainous Benchmark in the Shin Megami Tensei series.
