Charybdis is a minor villain from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series. It is an destructive monster born from Veldora Tempest's magicules.

Its Villainous Deeds

• Was stated it destroyed multiple nations in the past and whenever it was killed, it would revive and repeat until an hero sealed it away.
• It was so powerful even Harpy Queen Frey an Demon Lord was terrified of it and even the Dryads wouldn't be an match of it.
• When it was revived it attempted to kill Milim Nava and caused a destructive rampage in reaching Rimuru City putting many lives in danger before she destroyed it.
• When Clayman revived it to be an weapon, it went on a destructive rampage to be his army's trump card when it was being decimated by Rimuru’s forces, it would've killed many who are unable to teleport had Benimaru not destroyed it.
• It has no redeeing qualities.

Why It Doesn't Stand Out?

• While it’s attempted high kill count and attempted destructive rampages easily passes the baseline, all of it’s previous rampages are all offscreen and rely on fridge-horror making it fails the series absurdly high heinous to many other villains, some with lower or similar resources who done worse such as Geld, Gelmud, Clayman, Yuuki Kagurazaka, Mariabell Rosso.
  • Unlike Veldora Tempest or Milim Nava's own offscreen actions, those they have enough onscreen impact on the story to hold up to not rely on fridge-horror since they were shown in flashbacks destroying cities, explicit details Light Novel confirming them, and enough impact on the story while Charybdis' own flashbacks don't show it destroying anything and it's only onscreen effects is Clayman and Frey find it threatening so it don't have enough onscreen or story impact to be saved from fridge-horror.
• Charybdis is the definition of an "Generic Doomsday" Villain so it can't be Pure Evil or Near Pure Evil due to it lacking an sense of rationality or personality as when it was possessing Phobio it's minor characterization moments are his since he was controlling it to some extent and were influenced from it and when was possessing Yamzo it showed none of his personality since overtaken his body completely.
  • While it was shown laughing in it’s boss battle in ISEKAI Chronicles, given it was possessing Phobio at the time it likely his and even if it was Charybdis it still not enough characterization anyways.

Trivia

• Charybdis would've been Inconsistently Heinous if a confirmed kill count and how much damage it had done from it's previous rampages were revealed.
