The Cave Spider Queen is the main antagonist of the AvM Shorts Season 1 finale "Cave Spider Roller Coaster". She later returns as one of the two main antagonists (alongside the Wither King) of the Actual Shorts episode "You Shall Not Pass".
Like the name says, she is the queen of a gang of cave spiders, ordering her minions to capture or steal various thing for her to eat, alive or not. After the events of her debut episode, she has allied with the Wither that she previously fought, and decided to hunt down and kill the Stick Gang.

Her Villainous Deeds[]
- She has her cave spiders steal and kidnap various food, both dead and living, for her to feed on, with her being fully willing to eat creatures alive. When the episode begins, we see that the cave spiders are bringing her two living chickens and a squid, two dead fishes, rotten flesh, rabbit meat and mutton, which means they killed at least five creatures for her.
- She has her minions try to kill the Stick Gang once they appear in front of her.
- When the episode returns to the Cave Spider Queen after showing her army being completely decimated, you can no longer see the chickens and squid that were about to be offered to her, heavily implying she ate them off-screen.
- Upon learning of her army's destruction, she personally confronted the Stick Gang, defeated them in battle and came very close to killing and eating them.
- She returns years later, trying to gain revenge on the Stick Gang for humiliating her years ago.
- Once Yellow defeats her and sends her falling down to her presumed demise, she tries to bring him down with her by sending him plummeting down the bridge. Thankfully, Yellow rescues himself at the last second.
- Despite being a hostile mob, she has full moral agency as we see other hostile mobs, including a fellow spider, do heroic acts and redeem themselves.
- While she is enraged after learning of her army's destruction, this is not preventing as she could just be angry at their failure. Additionally, while she later allies with the same Wither that tried to kill her, this might be simple pragmatism to not get killed by him, as we haven't seen them properly interact.
- While she initially suffered from insufficient characterization, the Cave Spider Queen now has a proper personality of being wrathful, being a skilled fighter and being vengeful towards the Fighting Stick Figures.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- While her attempted kill count is high enough to pass the general standards, she suffers from Offscreen Villainy as she's never seen eating sentient creatures. Because of this, she fails the overall heinous standards of Animator vs. Animation where mass murder on the onscreen scale she has is extremely common.
- The entirety of her second appearance in "You Shall Not Pass" is not taken seriously at all, as it is a comedic parody of The Lord of the Rings, making her too comical for PE or NPE.
Trivia[]
- She, the Killer Bunny, the Witch, and the Raid Captain were all considered Near Pure Evil but were later cut due to failing the heinous standards and relying on Fridge Horror way too much to count.
