Villainous Benchmark Wiki
Well, it's a shame that you have to die, Lois, but look on the bright side: you'll be a story on the 6:00 news! You know, unless a local cat does something funny.

Sadly, you're as useful to me now as a backstage pass to Limp Bizkit.

Villainous Benchmarks who have comedic moments that either make them heavily played for laughs and detract from their heinousness at times. It is distinct from Laughably Evil in that they are seen as funny to at least a certain amount of people, but their actions are still taken seriously though it's possible for a villain to fall under both.

In some cases, villains being played for laughs too much may be their ONLY prevention from being Pure Evil (making them either Near Pure Evil at most or Inconsistently Heinous at least), given that they have no other preventions and/or have no redeeming qualities (e.g. Chester, Francis (SMG4), Major Man, and Gaspen Payne). Conversely, they may not fully be devoid of redeeming qualities (e.g. Loki Laufeyson, Magica De Spell (2017), Grampa, and Tirek) or other neutral mitigating factors not related with goodness (e.g. ) but come extremely close.

Dr. Ivo Robotnik, Brian Griffin, Prince Charming, and Mojo Jojo, are prime examples of comedic Villainous Benchmarks.

This category does not apply to characters who are comedic but come from non-comedic works. These characters should be under Comic Reliefs.
