~ Castor |
Castor is a major character in the AMC series Into the Badlands.
He is a Dark One that has been trained since the time he was a child to follow Pilgrim, a false messiah who desires to bring back the legendary city of Azra, and has Castor and another Dark One named Nix kill in his name. Due to him overusing the Gift, Castor's body and mental state are deteriorating, making him violent and unstable.
He was portrayed by Dean-Charles Chapman.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- He serves as one of Pilgrim's two Dark One enforces and kills those who oppose him for years.
- He hates M.K. due to the belief that he is being replaced by him, and even attempts to attack him several times despite the fact that M.K. doesn't have any personal issue with Castor and even feels bad for him once he dies.
- When he learns that he is dying, his last act is to help Otto abduct war refugees in order to bring them back to Pilgrim in order to serve as workers.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He doesn't even come close to the heinous standards of main villains such as Quinn or Pilgrim, whom Castor is a servant to.
- He is a tragic character due to having been trained to believe that he is building a better world by killing in the name of Azra.
- He genuinely cares about Pilgrim and Nix, and it's even implied that he and Nix are either dating or he has romantic feelings for her, leading to him being jealous of M.K. once he gets close to Nix.
- His death is extremely sad, as he is killed by Pilgrim for doubting him, despite looking up to him like a father.
