~ Bon-Bon calming down Funtime Freddy.

Bon-Bon is one of the four secondary antagonists (alongside his partner Funtime Freddy, Ballora, and Funtime Foxy) in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, the fifth mainline installment of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. He is also an unseen antagonist in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator and a posthumous antagonist for the rest of the series.

He is a hand puppet version of Bonnie the Bunny who was made by William Afton to capture and kill children and to serve as a part of Funtime Freddy, replacing his right hand. He ultimately teams up with the other Funtime animatronics to escape the location they're imprisoned in.

Bon-Bon was voiced by Becky Shrimpton, who also voices Funtime Chica.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • Bon-Bon was taken to the Scooping Room, where he conspired to gut Michael alongside the other Funtimes, and use his body as a skinsuit and had his endoskeleton parts become part of Ennard. Bon-Bon's inanimate shell is last seen on Night 5 in the Scooping Room.
    • There are implications Bon-Bon went through the same thing as Michael, proving he was aware Mike would also live. Even if he didn't, he most certainly learned it after seeing him get up once Ennard escaped from his body, and remained apathetic.
  • On his second night, Michael Afton encounters Funtime Freddy and Bon-Bon. Michael uses Bon-Bon to lure Funtime Freddy onto his stage so they wouldn’t kill him. Ultimately, Michael survives, and returns home.
  • On Night 3, Michael has to repair Funtime Freddy. After opening the faceplates and the chestplates, Bon-Bon starts moving and wants to kill Michael, only to be deactivated.
  • At an unknown point in time, Funtime Freddy, Bon-Bon, Funtime Foxy, and Ballora got into an argument with Baby, due to the fact that she was bossing everyone around. Ultimately, it ends with the Funtimes throwing Baby out of Ennard although to be fair this was justified given her cruel treatment of Bon-Bon and the others.
  • He presumably wants to help kidnap and murder children at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place alongside Funtime Freddy, Ballora, and Funtime Foxy, although this wasn’t confirmed.
  • While it's true William Afton created him to capture and kill children, he managed to gain full, human-like sapience and outgrow his programming, gaining moral agency, especially since he recognized that what Baby was doing was wrong.
  • Like Funtime Freddy, the fact there's no electric shock button in the Breaker Room likely means Bon-Bon wasn't tortured and is evil for the sake of it.
    • Additionally, him being mistreated by Baby is not played for sympathy and if he really helped Freddy murder children as implied, then his tragedy if it did happen would no longer apply either due to moving past it entirely.
  • Even though he is active inside Molten Freddy alongside Ballora and Funtime Foxy, nothing implies he remotely cares about them.

Why Doesn’t He Stand Out?[]

  • Similar to Ballora and Funtime Foxy, while he does pass the baseline, he fails the Heinous Standard too much for NPE as he does nothing but follow Baby's orders, and unlike Freddy, lacks any additional crimes that could boost him up.
    • Additionally, he relies on Fridge Horror because it is unclear if he wanted to assist Funtime Freddy. Even if he was assisting Freddy in his attempted child massacre as implied, that would still be just assisting Freddy without anything new or independent.
  • He's shown to care for Funtime Freddy, as he will try to calm him down on Night 2 and protect him from Michael on Night 3.

Trivia[]

  • Bon-Bon is the only Funtine animatronic not have been originally Near Pure Evil, as Ballora and Funtime Foxy were both originally Near Pure Evil until they were both removed for failing the heinous standards too much to Circus Baby and Funtime Freddy, leading them to join Bon-Bon on this wiki.
