You may think of Bi-Plane as a silly villain now, Immortal... but soon you'll see the damage I can do.

~ Bi-Plane stating his desire to die in a grand fashion.

Bi-Plane is a minor antagonist of the Image Comic Book series Invincible. Bi-Plane is a suicidal supervillain that plans to blow up Denver, but is easily stopped by the Immortal. Bi-Plane appears on issue #7 of Invincible where he approaches the Immortal. Bi-Plane proclaims his desire to blow up Denver to Immortal, but Immortal easily defeats Bi-Plane by throwing the supervillain into space. In issue #13, Bi-Plane's corpse is seen in space, during Invincible's misunderstanding with Allen the Alien.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • Despite his health condition of cancer that will eventually kill him under a month, Bi-Plane uses his health condition to blow up Denver in his suicidal act to be remembered. This invalidates his tragic health condition, as Bi-Plane uses it as an excuse to destroy a city just for attention.
  • Bi-Plane attempts to blow up Denver with his explosive bombs.
  • Bi-Plane shows no remorse for his actions and his death was not sympathetic at all.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • While his attempted destruction of Denver is bad enough to pass the baseline, Bi-Plane fails the in-story standards to villains like the Mauler Twins (who also fail the standards themselves), Angstrom Levy, D.A. Sinclair and Dinosaurus who have done worse and are taken more seriously in the story despite having similar resources.
  • Bi-Plane is incompetent in his attempt to blow up Denver, as Immortal was able to easily kill Bi-Plane by having Bi-Plane be thrown into space.
  • Bi-Plane's death is played for black comedy and is not taken seriously.
