NOTE: This page is only about the book series counterpart of Mr. Krupp from the original book series, as the TV series counterpart has his own page and the movie version is too bog-standard to be morally ranked. Thus, only Book Mr. Krupp's info and crimes should be put here. |
ā | I've thought long and hard about what to do with this tape. At first, I thought I'd send copies to your parents. Then I thought I might send a copy to the school board. I could get you both expelled for this! Finally, I came to a decision. I think the football team would be very curious to find out just who was responsible for yesterday's fiasco. I think I'll send a copy to them! (George: No! You can't do that. They'll kill us!) (Harold: Yeah, they'll kill us every day for the rest of our lives!) (George and Harold: Please have mercy. We'll do anything!) Anything? (Mr. Krupp grabs a paper from his desk) If you don't want to be dead as long as you live, you'll follow these rules exactly! | ā |
~ Mr. Krupp blackmailing George and Harold. |
Benjamin Krupp, also known as his superhero alter-ago Captain Underpants is the titular deuteragonist of the Captain Underpants book series.
He is Jerome Horwitz Elementary's sadistic, ill-tempered principal, as well as the superhero Captain Underpants' alter ego, unbeknownst to himself.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- In general, Mr. Krupp is a cruel principal who abuses his authority, punishing children for minor infractions for his own satisfaction.
- He lacks the sympathetic qualities that his movie and TV series counterparts have.
- While he want through horrific experiences like nearly getting frozen to his death in the ice-age, being brutally kicked around by Slightly Younger Tiny Tippy and getting eaten up by the Turbo Toilet 2000 twice, this doesnāt exclude him for his actions so this not make him a scapegoat.
- He took glee out of catching George and Harold's prank on VHS in the first book. When the boys pleaded with him not to release the video tape, he blackmailed them into doing his bidding.
- He normally bosses Ms. Anthrope around for coffee, though he can do it him self, even once threaten to fire her butt if she doesnāt bring him coffee.
- In Book 9, he was greatly happy that Tippy Tinkletrousers was going to destroy George and Harold, and not caring they are going to die.
- In Book 10, he chased George and Harold up the stairs and barged in the library after them, just because they brought animals into the school.
- In Book 11, when George and Harold flunked their "Super Secret" tests, Mr. Krupp and the faculty were greatly overjoyed that Harold flunked the fourth grade because he and George would no longer be in the same grade and thus have completely different paths.
- Later in the book, he revealed Yesterday George and Yesterday Harold's location to the Turbo Toilet 2000, which likely would have led to the boys being killed if it were not for Tony, Orlando, and Dawn.
- Not only that, he led him through the city while the Turbo Toilet 2000 destroys the city and probably endangering several people, and even when Mr. Krupp got send back to goof house, he shown no remorse for endangering Yesterday Georgeās and Haroldās lives.
- In Book 12. he and the faculty members take full advantage of Mr. Meaner's spray that brainwashes students into mindless servants who abuse them by enslaving them into cleaning their cars and mowing their laws.
- Later in the book, When Sir Stinks-A-Lot was attacking the adult versions of George and Harold, Mr. Krupp was only concerned about their blood potentially messing up his front yard instead of their safety.
- By Book 12, he receives no karmic punishment for his horrible behavior throughout the book series.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He is usually played for comedy, which prevents him from being NPE.
- His actions of child abuse and endangerment pass the general baseline, but he still fails the heinous standards to Turbo Toilet 2000, Slightly Younger Tiny Tippy Tinkletrousers, Dr. Diaper, Zorx, Klax & Jennifer and especially Evil George Beard and Evil Harold Hutchins, as they have done much worse.
- His split personality being the heroic Captain Underpants makes him On/Off.
- He and the teachers have some sort of friendship and they get along very well.
- He cares about his nephew Kipper, punishing anyone who he thinks is bullying him.
- While he takes great delight in punishing George and Harold for their pranks, he knows he can't punish them unless they're proven to be the culprits and always makes sure he gets proof first, this shows he has some standards.
- As much as he hates kids, he seems genuinely disgusted by the "squishies" spree George and Harold pulled off in book 6.
Trivia[]
- He is the only VB from the Captain Underpants books to have multiple counterparts also be VB ever since the new criteria that disallowed bog-standard kill-the-hero villains came into place.
