“ | What, are you dense? Are you r-tarded or something? Who the hell do you think I am? I'm the Goddamn Batman! | „ |
~ Batman's most infamous and yet memetic quote. |

- This led to Skeevers confessing the lieutenant about Arnold Flass' illegal activites, which would indirectly lead to his imprisonment for ten years.

- Slashes Lex Luthor's face with a Batarang instead of taking him down.
- During Brainiac's attack on Metropolis, he stops the heroes from helping the civilians out and allows him to destroy half of Metropolis to spite Superman, which resulted in millions of people dying.
- This action led to the superheroes nearly get defeated until Lara saves them by defeating one of Brainiac's machines with heat vision.
- It also had a clear effect as shown by the charred and demolished ruins of this city.
- Taunts Superman that he isn't smart enough to save Metropolis and reveals to him that he allowed Brainiac to destroy half of Metropolis. He also taunted him that he can lose everything, which Lara calls him out on this.
- Upon being freed by the Flash, he had Hawkboy murder Lex Luthor with a flail.
- Fights his own adopted son, Dick Grayson, which he cuts his head off and pushes him into a volcano.
- Leaves Dick Grayson to die to a volcano as the vigilante is saved by Superman.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- While his acts of unleashing bats to attack people and abusing Dick Grayson are unique, he fails the heinous standard to the Joker, who poisoned Gotham's water supply and murdered over 600 people with fewer resources, the Mutant Leader, a serial child killer who attempted to destroy Gotham, Lex Luthor, who ruled his country with an iron fist, caused a rainforest fire in Costa Rica and the destruction of Superman's Ice Fortress, Brainiac, who forced Superman to surrender so that he can destroy Kandor and destroyed half of Metropolis, and Quar, who orchestrated several attacks across the United States, destroyed both Kandor and Moscow.
- He is an anti-villain as the reason why he targets criminals and corrupt cops in Gotham is to keep their citizens save from harm.
- He is on & off, as he had done numerous heroic acts such as exposing Flass as a corrupt cop, stopping the production of the Joker venom, saving Black Canary from a group of gangsters, and stopping the Joker from causing chaos. He eventually redeems himself in DK3, where he no longer commits heinous acts as he is toned down and instead helps the heroes defeat Quar and his Kryptonian army.
- He is genuinely tragic as his parents were killed by a random mugger in an alleyway. This led him to avenge their deaths by becoming a crime-fighting vigilante. To make matters worse, his adopted son, Jason Todd, got killed by the Joker's goons beating him to death, which drove Batman into his retirement.
- He also has insecurities about his parents' deaths as he is unable to cope their losses.
- He has a sense of honor as he stopped Dick Grayson from killing Green Lantern and worked with him to save his life. He also sympathized a Thanagarian and his sister for losing their parents to a rainforest fire. He has standards as he is appalled at the crimes Mutants committed and is dissatisfied when Quar orchestrated several attacks inside the United States.
- He cares for many people:
- He genuinely cared for his parents as the reason why he became a vigilante was to avenge their deaths.
- Despite his abusive relationship with him, he sees Dick Grayson as his son as he trained him to become a crime-fighter and showed empathy to him when his biological parents died. It is implied that he somewhat felt remorse for abusing Dick as he regretted to have mistreating him unlike Carrie.
- He cared for Jason Todd as he trained him to become a vigilante and his death is the reason why it drove Batman into his retirement.
- He is protective of Carrie Kelley as he trained her to become a vigilante and treated her like a daughter. He also taught her to ride a horse and even gave her a costume as a present.
