Captain Basilisx is a supporting antagonist in the popular 2006-2009 flash animation series, Super Mario Bros. Z. He is the ruthless captain of Bowser's Koopa Guard who is enhanced by Dr. Eggman's experiments, having a vendetta on Mario for supposedly killing one of his friends a while back, as well as multiple other members of the Koopa Troop.
His voice clips were primarily taken from Cell from the Dragon Ball franchise.

- He is the ruthless captain of Koopatrol Army and a high-ranking man of the hegemonic king Bowser.
- When Mario and his team approaches to the Omega Doomship with their Sky Pop, Basilisx ordered his soldier to fire the Doom Kannon and destroy them.
- When his soldier is unable to do that, he went mad and pertificated him, then he fired the Kannon himself to destroy Mario and his team.
- Petrificated Luigi, Yoshi and Sonic to fight Mario one-on-one.
- While he did not use petrification stare against Mario despite freely admitting he could easily have done so and then used his claws to shred apart his petrified body, it was only for him fully satiating his desire for vengeance against the plumber by sadistically killing him.
- Used the petrified Luigi as a bludgeoning weapon to prevent Mario attack him so he could turn the tides of the battle for himself.
- Poisoned Mario with two Poison Mushroom and brutally attacked him with his Bloody High Claw power.
- He was about to kill Mario until Luigi freed himself from his petrification and took Basilisx by surprise with a blow from his hammer.
- Ordered his remaining troops to attack the brothers.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- His sadistic methods are enough to pass the general baseline, but he still fails the high heinous standards of the series to villains such as Turbo Mecha Sonic and Axem Red, who are both genocidal and cataclysmic mass murderers who have lots of kill counts, whilst Basilisx only has four murder attempts under the orders of Bowser.
- He cared about his friends and other troops as he wanted to avenge them after Mario killed them, nothing suggests that this is subverted.
- He is genuinely loyal to Bowser.
