Barriss Offee was wrong about a lot of things. She let her anger cloud her judgement and she tried to justify her actions without considering their wider effects. She was afraid of the war and she didn't trust people she should've listened to. But she had a point about the Republic and the Jedi. There was something wrong with them, and we were too locked into our traditions to see what it was. Barriss should've done something else. She shouldn't have killed anyone, and she definitely shouldn't have framed me for it, but if we'd listened to her, really listened, we might have been able to stop Palpatine before he took power.
~ Ahsoka Tano expressing her feelings over Barriss Offee's actions.

Barriss Offee is a major character in the Star Wars franchise. She was a former Mirialan Jedi Knight, General, and Healer. She carried a blue lightsaber (later Asajj Ventress's two red lightsabers) and was once a friend to Ahsoka Tano.

She was portrayed by Nalini Krishan in Attack of the Clones and voiced by Meredith Salenger in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series.

Her Evil Ranking[]

Her Villainous Deeds[]

  • Due to believing that the Jedi are the ones responsible for the Clone Wars, she bombed the Jedi Temple. Even though she had a reasonable motive to back this up, it doesn't justify her bombing since it killed several Jedi and injured many civilians.
  • She choked Letta Turmond to death and framed her friend Ahsoka for the bombing of the Jedi Temple.
  • She stole Asajj Ventress's helmet and lightsabers, posing as her which made Ahsoka think she was Ventress and Anakin almost killed Ventress as a result.
  • She tried to kill Anakin Skywalker when he came to stop her.
  • Used the Dark Side to kill another former Jedi during a test for the Inquisitorious.

Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • With or without resources, she fails the high standards of the Star Wars franchise as there are multiple other villains who commit mass murder within the franchise.
  • She is very tragic as she started off as a kind and loving girl before her experiences of the Clone Wars made her bitter and evil. A tie-in comic shows that she became this way due to seeing multiple clones die and having to heal them.
  • She showed remorse for her crimes as she was sorrowful towards Ahsoka before being imprisoned. She also showed remorse over having to kill her friend Dante to prove herself worthy of joining the Inquisitorous, even if it was in self defense.
  • She has standards as she was saddened to see the Jedi Temple in flames, horrified that the Fourth Sister killed multiple villagers, and stabbed a Jedi when he was about to surrender.
  • She ultimately redeems herself.
    • In Legends, she rejoins the Jedi Order, fully atoned for her crimes.
    • In Canon, she redeems herself by defeating the Fourth Sister and coming to heal the Jedi she attacked. Afterwards, she goes back to being a healer for people that come by and risks her life to redeem the Fourth Sister. It is also implied she made amends with Ahsoka.
