Her Evil Ranking[]
Her Villainous Deeds[]
Background[]
- After her Jedi Master was killed by pirates, Ventress began killing off the pirates, eventually causing them to call off their attack.
- She rid her world of warmongers and pirates and ruled over Rattatak, claiming the planet as her own.
Prio-Clone Wars[]
- Before the Clone Wars in Hyperspace Stories 5, she hunted a Jedi artifact (in a doll) on Naboo and fought Anakin. During the hunt, she also killed several clone troopers and after allowing herself to be captured by Mayanka Catrine, she retook the outpost she was trapped in.
- She threaten a young Gungan child who had the artifact in a doll from the wookie girl Viiveenn.
- In Halcyon Legacy 3, She once hunted a senator named Zast Tri'vak to get him to join the Serpatist. When Anakin and Padme were investigating, she killed Zast Tri'vak.
- Dooku sent her on a mission to hunt his sister Jenza. Despite Ventress hearing her master, Ky Narec's pleas she ignored him and execute her.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars film[]
- She attempted to help Dooku frame the Jedi for the kidnapping of Jabba the Hutt's son to ruin the alliance between the Hutts and the Republic. Later, under orders from Dooku, she lies that the Jedi have killed Jabba's son after she fails to retrieve him, knowing very well that Dooku would use this to turn Jabba against the Jedi and that he would try to murder the child.
- She killed the bounty hunters hired by Jabba to get his son and sent their heads back to him.
- She lifts one of her battle droids in the air and drops him from great height when she gets frustrated after Ahsoka and Anakin manage to rescue Jabba's son.
- During the battle of Teth, she killed several clones before encountering Captain Rex and tried to force him into revealing Anakin’s location.
- She secretly recorded Anakin and Ahsoka with a crying Rotta, to make it seem like they were the kidnappers. Ventress later claimed that Anakin killed the infant to enrage Jabba further.
The Clone Wars[]
- She sabotaged Yoda’s starship and caused it to crash on Rugosa. Ventress then sent armies of Battle Droids to capture Yoda and convince King Katuunko to join the CIS.
- She nearly executed King Katuunko for refusing to join the Separatists.
- She attacked The Tranquility and killed numerous Clone Troopers.
- She stabbed Faro Arygus in the back out of spite for attempting to hog all of the credit.
- She and Grievous launched an attack on Kamino to stop the production of new clones for the Republic.
- During the Battle of Khorme, she supported the local Separatist warlord, Unger Gout, even though he has enslaved his own people, forces them to work in mines and even feeds their corpses when they die to the living to save money on food. Ventress even suggests that he should put explosives in the mines to kill the slaves if the Jedi come to help and she puts the explosives herself after Unger agrees to her plan.
- She planted an explosive on Harko Vane's ship to frame Anakin for his murder.
- After Dooku betrayed, she killed a group of scavengers who threatened her and refused to comply with her demands (though, it could be argued this was justified because they would have killed her too).
- After her return to the Nightsister clan, she goes to the male Nightbrother village and kills many of the young males in brutal trials to select a new apprentice she could use to execute Count Dooku.
- After she chooses Savage Oppress and promises she wouldn't harm his brother, she breaks her promise. She and Mother Talzin brainwash Savage with a ritual which increases his physical strength and turns him into a murderous psychopath. Then, Ventress commands him to kill his own brother which he does because he can't remember him. This also makes her responsible for Savage Oppress' rampage later on in the story.
- After the Nightsister village is destroyed by Grievous, Ventress goes to a bar on Mos Eisley and kills the bounty hunter, Balnab, for bothering her.
- Sometime later, Ventress returns in the service of Count Dooku and under his orders, executes most members of a religious group called the Sun Guard.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch[]
- It is implied by Fennec Shand that she took a M-count job for the Empire.
- She attempts to kill the Bad Batch when they gang up on her to protect Omega.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Her murders are enough to pass the general baseline, but she still fails the massive heinous standards compared to other Star Wars villains because she did her worst acts under Dooku's orders.
- She is tragic; she started out as a caring and kind person, but hardened her heart when her master Ky Narec died.
- When she was still a baby, the Nightsister clan gave her to a warlord from Rattatak to ensure the safety of the clan. Even though her new master was kind to her, she was still raised as a slave.
- Her master was killed during a raid which left the young Ventress heartbroken.
- She was then adopted by the Jedi Master Ky Narec who trained her to be a Jedi outside of the temple and the two developed a strong bond and became heroes to the people of Rattatak. However, when Ventress was a teenager, a group of warlords assassinated her master which left the young Ventress heartbroken again. She also blames the other Jedi for abandoning her master and desires to have revenge on them and joins the Dark Side and Count Dooku for that reason.
- She wants to please her Master, Dooku, and be by his side and that's part of the reason why she is willing to commit evil acts for him. While he cares about her to an extent, he also sees her as a pawn and tries to have her killed on two separate occasions.
- After she was killed, she was brought back to life, but Mother Talzin had her sacrifice her hearts desire and thus could not see Quinlan Vos again.
- She genuinely cares about her Jedi Master, Ky Narec, mourned his death and her actions are motivated by it.
- She likes Kenobi to an extent and despite trying to kill him, she still offers him to join her on multiple occasions. In one instance, she saves Kenobi's life from Darth Maul and Savage Oppress and the two then depart on peaceful turns.
- She grows to care about her people, the Nightsisters, and fights against Grievous to protect her village. When Grievous successfully kills them, Ventress is left heartbroken again and it's played for sympathy by the story despite her previous crimes.
- She has a sense of honor.
- When she returned the doll to a Gungan child upon deciding finding the object for Count Dooku was not worth it, as he did not truly care about his agent's life.
- After becoming a bounty hunter, she accepted a job which consisted of protecting a chest a transporting it via train to King Otua Blank. When she realizes that the chest contains a young girl who was kidnapped from her home and was supposed to be the King's new bride, Ventress decides to rescue her because she sees herself in the girl.
- She helps Ahsoka to prove her innocence because she sees similarities between the two of them since both were betrayed by their masters.
- She also seemed at least somewhat willing to train Omega, being interested in her abilities in the Force. After she tested her abilities she allowed Omega to stay with her brothers and left, also warning them that the Empire will find them on Pabu.
- She redeems herself by giving her life for the love that she finally received.
