Villainous Benchmark Wiki

Arlo is the tritagonist of UnOrdinary, serving as the main antagonist of Season 1 and a redeemed protagonist in Season 2. He was the former king of Wellston Private High School until being dethroned by John.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • During his rule as King, he enforced his darwinistic views and let’s high-tiers mistreat low-tiers all they want.
  • He strangled Rein after beating her in their fight just to humiliate her, while surrounding himself with a barrier so nobody would stop him.
  • He pretended to befriend John so he could manipulate him into lowering his guard so he could find out while he’s hiding his ability, being aware John desperately wanted to hide it and the fact he was going insane after Sera's suspension.
  • He threatens Isen and forces him to get information on him.
  • He has Ventus and Meili break John's cell phone so he can’t contact Seraphina, causing his mental state to further deteriorate.
  • He drags out John to an empty field and has Ventus and Meili assault him, which forces him to reveal his ability. He then attacks John himself, but fails.
  • Thanks to his actions of provoking John, he is somewhat responsible for making him go insane and hate all of the Royals even more, which would eventually lead to him brutally attacking the royals one by one and tyrannically taking over the school. Arlo refused to take responsibility for his actions for a long time.

Why Doesn’t He Stand Out?[]

  • His crimes don’t stand out in his universe and he fails the Heinous Standard to nearly anybody involved with EMBER or Spectre, who have commited mass murder, slavery and other crimes each. He also fails to John, even though he's indirectly responsible for some of his actions, he was unaware of the full consequences.
  • He is an anti-villainous extremist who genuinely believe his rule and the hierarchy keeps people safe. He is also protective of Seraphina and his other classmates (even if it's mostly professionalism.)
  • He was raised by his Aunt Valerie (who's actually a terrorist) who instilled (or possibly even brainwashed) him with her darwinistic views on society, which may affect his understanding of reality.
  • While he is a massive hypocrite who created a multitude of problems by provoking John, he is also a bit of a Scapegoat who gets more than what he deserves as John destroys everything he cares about and repeatedly assaults him even after he apologizes. It is also sympathetic when he learns the Authorities he looked up to his entire life turn out to be a group of terrorists who are responsible for the death of Rei.
  • He redeems himself after realizing he is the one who provoked John. From then on, he begins to show heroic qualities as he eventually helps save his classmates from Spectre and other threats.
  • He cares for a multitude of other people such as the previous king, Rei, his aunt Valerie and possibly his best friend, Holden. After redeeming himself he begins to care for his classmates as well, even including John.
