His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- Two thousands years ago, he fought against Mundus over the control of the Demon World, splitting it in two and subjecting anyone who tried opposing him using his enforcers, Balrog and Bolverk.
- He tried to subject the habitants of Dumary Island, only to be defeated and sealed away by Sparda and other devil hunters.
- His influence lead up to Arius, the CEO of Uroborus, to set activity over the island in an attempt to obtain his power, making him indirectly responsible for his actions.
- After Arius brought him thanks to his ritual, he brought havoc upon the island through his demonic army.
- As part of Argosax' influence leaked upon the island, Dante was forced to enter an unstable portal to defeat him for good.
- He tries to kill Dante once confronted with him, only to be shoot and killed once and for all by the latter.
- Various years later, his demonic enforcer Balrog ended up attacking the island once again, forcing Dante and Lucia to join forces again to save the day, showing that Argosax still had a degree of posthumous influence.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out[]
- While his plans of world domination are perfectly enough to pass the baseline, Argosax fails too much the Heinous Standard to Demon Kings such as Mundus and Urizen, who have additional crimes on their rapsheet that are also given a bigger gravity. It doesn't help that some of his crimes are given little to no details, making him fall under Fridge Horror at the point that he can't ranked higher.
- He is too lacking in characterization to be NPE or PE, as he never talks and also expresses little to no emotions or personality in his screen time, being treated like a mindless force of nature more than anything.
