Ajak is the overarching protagonist in Eternals.

Her Evil Ranking[]

Upholding her duties as Prime Eternal, Ajak ruthlessly brings forth the ruthless deity Arishem the Judge's mundicides against several planets, Centuri-Six among them, killing in the least dozens of billions of innocents. Made worse is that Ajak kept Earth's grisly fate a secret from Sersi and the others for centuries.
- As Kro the Deviant is haunted when he reads Ajak's memories and Thena is horrifically stunted by Mahd Wy'ry from previous experiences with Emergences she had alongside Ajak, this prevents it from being off-screen villainy.
Having destroyed multiple worlds to further the Celestials' works, she probably has a higher body count than Hela or the High Evolutionary.

All of her crimes were done through Arishem the Judge, which makes her a random lackey of his who cannot pass the heinous standard of the MCU.
She fails the system standard because other groups of Eternals exist and they all had a Prime Eternal too, who certainly directed other mundicides across the universe over the last thirteen eons.
While it doesn't justify her actions, she is in no way intentionally an evil woman, being a clear-cut extremist and antivillain who genuinely thinks that if Arishem believes certain planets are worthy sacrifices, then she agrees with him.
She redeems herself by strongly doubting if Earth is a worthy sacrifice due to being impressed by Babylon's rich culture and even more impressed by Earthlings saving the entire universe during the Time Heist and subsequent Battle of Earth.
She becomes a scapegoat when Ikaris cruelly slams her off a cliff and feeds her to Deviants, which is played completely for sympathy.
She has standards since she feels indebted to the Avengers for undoing the Snap and stops Druig from murdering Ikaris in cold blood.
She is an extremely polite and affable character.
She sincerely cares for the other Eternals and honors Sersi by nominating her as her successor. And even though they do not always agree, she still has the utmost respect for Arishem the Judge.
